About RC Studio
Long time photographer and graphic and miniature artist living in Denmark with the best family in the universe (including the best little dog and the cutest cat in the universe). Working freelance, specialising in illustrations for bloggers and editors, portrait shoots for classic car owners, landscape photography and miniature work. When not behind a camera or before a work desk, I enjoy spending time with my family, riding my Yamaha motorbike and beachcombing for interesting artifacts with my wife (who's my one and only love for all time).
For my photo- and videography I used to work with a row of CANON cameras, but a few years ago my wife Christine, who is herself a well-known portrait and lifestyle photographer in Germany, convinced me to change to SONY. Since then I carry a SONY A7II and a SONY A7IIs in my backpack, complete with several zoom and fixed focal lenses (my favourite being the Zeiss Lexia 2/50). For developing my images I rely most of the times on LIGHTROOM, with rare trips to PHOTOSHOP for special tasks and of course for my fantasy composites.
When painting and doing graphic work, I often rely on the very analogous pencil and paper, sometimes out of sentimental feeling, I guess. In virtual art reality I paint nearly exclusively on an iPad, using PROCREATE.
My miniature art painting is done with Vallejo and AMMObyMIG 3rd Generation paints, in my eyes the highest quality you can find on the market. I employ an ANYCUBIC Photon Mono 3d printer for original sculpt work.
Considering all this, I feel I am a very lucky and above all happy man. Doing what I can do best for a living, being surrounded by the most wonderful family in the universe and being able to live in a beautiful place... I am profoundly grateful for that. Thanks, dear god, thanks, dear universe. I do my best to prove worthy of this every day.
